On a recent Saturday afternoon, 13 Scouts from the 4th Pembroke Lamphey Troop, their parents and members of the charity biker group the Three Amigos met at the premises of AJ Tyres in Pembroke Dock.

The purpose of the visit was for the Scouts to have the opportunity to gain their mechanics badge.

The Scouts were instructed on the care and basic maintenance of cars and motor bikes.

Thanks must go to everyone who gave up their time to instruct these young people: Ian and his staff at AJ Tyres, The Three Amigos and also the dads and granddads who assisted and in some cases allowed the Scouts to carry out minor tasks on their cars.

The Scouts thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon and were truly grateful to everyone who helped them complete their mechanics badge.
