Pembroke Dock firefighters made haste to Pembroke after a lorry cab caught fire in the early hours of Sunday, March 16.

At 2.42am, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crew from Pembroke Dock Fire Station was called to Pembroke in response to a vehicle fire involving the cab of an articulated lorry near Common Road.

The main fire was out on the crew’s arrival and crew members proceeded to use one hose reel jet to dampen down the area. They also used a thermal imaging camera to monitor for any remaining hot spots. Safety information and guidance was given to the vehicle’s driver.

The crew left the scene at 3.18am.
