The South Pembs (Pembroke) Police Cadet Unit have been invited to the Prestigious Lord Ferrers awards at Lancaster House in London on October 13.
The Lord Ferrers Awards recognise outstanding contributions to volunteering in policing. The nomination demonstrates how the team have achieved and sustained a measurable impact for the benefit of policing or communities.
They were nominated for outstanding work carried out during the pandemic, and laying wreaths at local military cenotaphs. The Cadets attended local events and parades whenever asked to.
A group of four Cadets and leaders will be representing the Unit at the awards.
