The front desk at Tenby Police Station will be open for business this summer.
Two Public Enquiry Officers have been recruited to provide a front desk service for people who visit the Warren Street police station and will be open daily from 8 am to 8 pm.
Caroline and Ffion will provide a friendly face to those in need of police help.
Inspector Dan Bower said: “The station has never been shut as there are always officers there, but it makes sense to have someone officially on front desk during this busy period to help people with their enquiries and allow officers to carry on with their other duties.
“The front desk staff will also be there with a view to keeping an eye on the town’s CCTV.
“The move is all part of Operation Lion, which is a raft of measures carried out during the summer to help keep residents and visitors to the area safe and free from crime or anti-social behaviour,” he added.
