Sponsored: On the ninth anniversary of Baby Mania, a baby and nursery goods business based at Whitland, Catherine and Richard Walker hope to be serving their customers for many years to come.

Catherine got the idea to start the business when she discovered how expensive everything for babies and toddlers was, when James came along in 2014. Initially she started selling baby items online, and this went so well that when Albion Stores became available on the retirement of her parents (who have owned Albion Stores since 1986) she left her job in the NHS and opened Baby Mania.

The shop was an immediate success, selling preloved prams, strollers, high chairs and numerous other nursery goods. Since that time they have expanded their range and sell new items as well. Baby Mania is the sole UK stockist for Ickle Bubba supplier returns.

“We are so grateful to our lovely customers, who come to us from all over South, West, and Mid Wales,” she said. “It is a delight to meet them, many returning time after time. We also deliver to those areas.

“All our preloved goods are thoroughly checked by myself and husband Richard to ensure the highest possible standards, before being put on display.

“Richard and I are thankful for the unwavering support of mum and dad, and of course James, who was the inspiration for the business.”
