Pembroke Castle had a visit on Monday from Lara Steward, of ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ fame. The dog-loving actress tweeted: “On mini-holiday with Fishcake. After exploring Pembroke Castle, two staff rushed out as they had seen me on ACGAS as well as the Malteasers advert. Strange to be recognised in my scruffy raincoat but so touched.”

The Castle makes its own TV appearance tonight at 7pm on ITV Wales’ ‘Coast & Country’.
