REHEARSALS are well underway for this year’s Saundersfoot Footlights’ pantomime, Sleeping Beauty. With only six weeks to go, the cast are busy learning lines, songs and dances and getting fitted out with their costumes.

There are lots of new members this year with some taking on main cast roles for the first time.

Behind the scenes, the stage is being set for what will be a traditional pantomime for all the family. There is a fairytale princess and prince, add a king and queen, a pair of comedians, a dame (of course), a bad witch (she’s behind you) and a touch of fairy magic and, hey presto, you’ve got a panto!

This year, the show will start at the earlier time of 7pm on Monday December 2 and runs for five nights until Friday, December 6. For those who would rather avoid the dark nights, there is a matinee performance on Saturday, December 7 at 2pm.

Tickets can be purchased via www.saundersfootamdram.co.uk or in person from the Regency Hall or on the door at all performances. For information about group bookings or carers’ tickets, email [email protected] or contact the Footlights through the website.
