Saundersfoot Historical Society completed its 2023-24 programme of lectures with a last-minute change of plan.
The scheduled speaker having cancelled through illness, the society was particularly grateful to Mrs Eva Rich for agreeing to speak at such short notice. Her entertaining and informative talk on dealing with blindness and particularly on the breeding and training of guide dogs was thoroughly enjoyed by the large audience.
End of season trips include a guided tour of Carew Castle on May 15 and a second guided tour, of Scolton Manor Museum, on June 19. Alison and Val are hard at work developing a varied and informative series of lectures for the 2024-25 programme, details of which will be available in September.
The committee of the Society wishes all members and friends a pleasant summer before meetings resume in the autumn.
