After a few days of welcome sunshine it was back to ‘drowned rats’ for Penally Bridge Club on Monday, May 13. 

Although proving an unlucky day for some members (writes JCG), it was extremely lucky for Jill and John O’S with a tremendous score of 70.63%, far above second-placers Geoff and Paul V on 59.52%, closely followed by Paul B and Stuart on 59.03%.

The Club will not be open on Bank Holiday Monday, May 27, but thereafter will meet each Monday at 1.15pm in the Village Hall for more convivial games of Duplicate Bridge.

Visiting players are always welcome.
