IT being the start of main holiday time, there was only a small turnout at Penally Bridge Club on June 3 to welcome back director Alan after his long holiday.
The top two pairs were John and Jill and Paul B and Stuart, both scoring 57.50%; Paul and Stuart managing two slams.
The Club will be holding its Summer Party on Monday, June 17, but thereafter will meet each Monday at 1.15pm in the Village Hall. Visiting players welcome. For more information, contact Brenda on 01834 812132.
