Pembroke and Pembroke Dock Lions are saying a big thank you to Mia Tia Amy and Chloe for raising funds for the local organisation that supports many worthy causes. The girls are out and about for the next couple of weeks, selling reindeer food ready for little ones to feed Santa’s reindeers on Christmas Eve.
The street in Whitland was lit up when 15 children lit up and decorated their ‘wheels’ on November 29 - a fantastic sight for all those who braved the rain. They paraded to the town’s Christmas tree to meet Father Christmas at the lighting up ceremony.
The wonderful team at Pembroke Castle have ‘worked their socks off’ this weekend at the annual Christmas Market, which included local stallholders and entertainment from school choirs and other musicians - and a dramatic entrance from Santa! With help from Valero and the local community, funds were raised for ASD Family Help - Pembrokeshire.
On Saturday morning, Henry Tufnell and his wife Poppy threw on their finest Santa suits and joined others for the Santa Run in Tenby. “The town was buzzing with festive cheer, he said. “Plus, we earned these very impressive Santa medals - surely the highlight of any wardrobe!”
A huge crowd gathered for Tenby Friendship Club’s last meeting of 2024 on November 27 and enjoyed a Christmas afternoon tea and a short talk about digital broadband, writing grandchildren’s names on baubles for St Johns Christmas Tree Festival. The next meeting will be on January 8.
Dave Golding said PATCH was honoured again to be one of the charities presented with a donation from St Mary’s Church Tenby at their Advent Service. “What a wonderful gesture from the congregation,” said Dave, whose dog, Sprocket, managed to sneak into the photograph too.
