AFTER the disruption of Ironman, it was a relief to return to normal and meet up with friends for a pleasant afternoon at Penally Bridge Club. 

In the absence of Alan and Brenda, Paul B was busy multi-tasking and brightened up a dull, damp afternoon with his sunny yellow T-shirt.

Top of the tree again were Jill & John with a slightly reduced score from the previous week of 71.25%, still a long way clear of the rest. Geoff & Paul V. were second with 58.75% and sharing third place with 52.50% were Jan & Denis and Judy & Nova. Paul B. & Stuart bid and made the only Slam.

Penally Bridge Club meets each Monday at 1.15 pm in the Village Hall. Visiting players are always welcome. —JCG
