THIS June, Cosheston will be holding an Open Gardens event for the first time.

A number of local people have friends and family who have been affected by brain tumours which affect 12,300 people annually in the UK. This has prompted some Cosheston residents to raise funds and support the charity braintumourcharity.org.

On Saturday, June 15 visitors will be able to wander round 13 lovely village and Cleddau estuary waterside gardens opened to the public.

The village hall will sell entry programmes (entry costs £5 per person) and host demonstrations, displays, plant stall and refreshments.

All visitors purchasing a Cosheston Open Gardens programme on the Saturday will receive a discounted entry to nearby RHS Partner Garden Upton Castle Gardens the following day, Sunday June 16, when the attraction’s takings will be donated to the charity.
