The children of Saundersfoot Playgroup and Daycare were joined by parents and grandparents on their annual sponsored toddle. Twiggle the turtle and Duke the dog came on the adventure too!
The toddle headed downhill from Saundersfoot school to the slipway, all the way along the beach, right to the far end of Coppet Hall, where the children explored some of the rock pools. They then headed back again using their sense of adventure and resilience to cross streams, push themselves to the slipway again to receive a well deserved ice cream before heading back up the steep hill to playgroup. It was huge feat for little legs and some children did it two days in a row!
As well as sponsors, and those who came on the day to support their little ones, the playgroup thanks Dan Edison from the Mermaid gift shop for donating ice creams - which proved quite an incentive to these little adventures.
The efforts of the children has raised £350 towards developing the setting’s outdoor area.
