A VILLAGE near Tenby held its fourth annual Swede Rolling competition recently, drawing a large crowd.

The weather was misty but rain-free on Saturday, December 28 as villagers from St Florence gathered at Butts Hill to roll their swedes.

There were men’s, ladies’ and children’s events, with proceeds going to St Florence School, and hot drinks, bacon rolls and cakes on supply.

The event, kindly sponsored by Neil Finlay Cars, offered fun for all the family and included a ‘decorate the swede competition’.
