AMROTH Parish Hall, Summerhill, currently hosts the following regular weekly events: Table tennis, Muay Thai kickboxing, Womens Institute, Fitness for Mums, Sewing Circle, Craft Group, New Life Church.
The second Friday of every month is Free Film Night, and a charity quiz night is coming up this Friday, October 18.
On Saturday, October 19, Cocktails For 2 features former Syd Lawrence Orchestra vocalist Tony Jacobs and, on piano, Martin Litton who has played with Kenny Ball, Acker Bilk, and Humphrey Littleton. They play music from the 20s, 30s and 40s such as Cole Porter, Gerschwin, Fats Waller etc.
Looking ahead, there’s another charity quiz night on November 15, while on Saturday, December 7 the hall welcomes popular ukulele group The Slipway Ukes.
