A LAMPHEY man has been given a community order and told to paid compensation after admitting to stealing items worth over £1,300 from Tenby and Llanelli.
Luke Brummitt, of Honeyhill Grove, stole two bags from a person at Llanelli Railway Station on August 11 The value of the bags was £1,300. He also admitted the theft of £86 worth of goods from Sainsbury’s stores in Tenby on September 19.
The 46-year-old appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court for sentencing on November 26, having pleaded guilty to both offences on November 1.
The community order includes alcohol abstinence until March 25, 2025 and monitoring equipment. Costs to Crown Prosecution Service of £85 were added to the compensation total of £1,386.06.
