A 61-YEAR-OLD Pembroke woman has been disqualified after driving while over the alcohol limit on New Year’s Day.
The proportion of alcohol was found to be 74mg per 100ml of breath, while the legal limit is 35mg.
Pauline Turner, of Ashdale Lane, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on January 21 and admitted to driving a motor vehicle while over the limit on at St Anne’s Crescent, Pembroke Dock on January 1.
Taking into account her guilty plea, magistrates set the disqualification period at 20 months. This is reduced by 20 weeks for a course, which must be completed by March 3.
In addition, Turner pays a fine of £150, plus costs of £85, and a surcharge of £65.
