A man who stole from a Pembroke Dock chemist has been jailed and ordered to pay compensation of £1819.53.

Raj Domnu, of Frodingham Road, Scunthorpe, appeared via live link before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on May 14 following conviction on April 22 of Theft from Boots the Chemist at Pembroke Dock.

It was evident from CCTV footage that the 27-year-old had taken a leading role in offending as part of a group activity which had a high degree of planning, targeting high value items.

In addition to paying compensation to the value of the items stolen, plus £85 costs and £145 to fund victim services, Domnu was committed to prison for 16 weeks, on account of the seriousness of the offence.
