A stricter suspended sentence has been imposed on a Haverfordwest woman after requirements of the existing order were not met.
Rachel Palmer, of Merlins Hill, admitted to failing to attend unpaid work appointments on two occasions when she appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Monday, February 19.
The suspended sentence had been imposed on the 31-year-old by Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire Magistrates’ Court on August 16, 2023 for four varied offences of assault/ill-treat/neglect/abandon a child/young person.
The suspended sentence is now as follows: Committed to prison for a term of six months suspended for two years. Drug rehabilitation requirement. The original requirements of rehabilitation activity and unpaid work are to continue.
The defendant was ordered to pay costs of £60.
