The children in Onnen, Collen and Helygen class of Ysgol Llys Hywel, Whitland have enjoyed learning about the Islamic religion and their visit to Swansea Mosque. What an experience for the pupils!

The school congratulates Amelia Malpeli Thomas for coming second with her T-shirt design and Polly McNamara for coming third in the 2D picture competition; also the 2nd language Cwis Dim clem team who performed well in the quiz, and the pupils who represented the school excellently in the West Myrddin Urdd girls football competition.

The Bumbles of Honeywood held a session with Years 3 and 4. The company visits schools to encourage entrepreneurial mindsets and the pupils benefited greatly from the experience. The school is grateful to them for their visit, to the Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub CGC / MAWW Fire and Rescue for their fire safety talk, and also to Thank you to Davies Builders of Whitland for their kind donation for help in the creation of a new outdoor area.

The pupils at Llys Hywel have also been spreading the important message of keeping the yellow zig zag lines clear outside their school!
