Year 5 pupils from Saundersfoot CP School have been creative and enterprising contributors this month.

They have baked cakes for every child in the school and sold them for 50p each.

After making a spreadsheet on Excel they calculated a profit of £79.50. What a great achievement!

All profit will be used wisely to improve the classroom setting.

A group of pupils represented the School last week at the Pembrokeshire Sustainable Schools COPembs pupil conference in County Hall, Haverfordwest.

The School was invited to present to other local schools on their successful energy saving campaign.

In fact, as a result of the pupil’s hard work and dedication, Saundersfoot School has reduced its carbon emissions by 30 per cent in the past year.
