A feast of music, poetry and comedy will be keeping BBC Radio Cymru listeners entertained over the Christmas period. Whether listeners are snuggling up in front of the fire or driving home for Christmas, some of Wales’ glittering stars will keep them company.
Great British Bake Off star, Beca Lyne-Pirkis kicks things off by asking some of Wales’ most familiar faces the most important question of the season – what will be on their plates this Christmas?
Sunday, December 22
Ar Blât - 4-3:30pm, also on Sunday, December 15, 4-3:30pm
The actor Emyr Wyn, known to Pobol y Cwm fans as Dai Sgaffalde, and his wife, the actress Llinor ap Gwynedd will join Beca Lyne-Pirkis in the first of the Ar Blât series, this Christmas. They'll discuss the essentials of a Christmas dinner and who does what in the kitchen.
In the second episode Beca will be joined by presenter Lisa Angharad and her partner, musician Rhys Gwynfor to share childhood memories, secret family recipes, and some hilarious cooking mishaps.
Talwrn Nadolig - 7pm and repeated on December 25, 2pm
The Meuryn, Ceri Wyn Jones, will host a poetic battle between two teams: the Donkeys and the Camels, in the Talwrn Christmas special.
The Donkeys, consisting of Iwan Rhys, Huw Meirion, Grug Muse, Mair Tomos Ifans, and Annes Glyn, will go head-to-head with Camels Llŷr Gwyn Lewis, Carwyn Eckley, Ioan Roberts, Gwenan Prysor, and Tegwen Bruce-Deans.

Oedfa'r Nadolig - 5:30-6:30pm and repeated 11am-12pm
Join worshippers at Capel Tabernacl, Efail Isaf on Christmas morning for a special festive service.
Aled Hughes - 11am
Aled Hughes will be keeping listeners company on Christmas Day, broadcasting live from the studio. Get ready for some festive fun and plenty of music to get you in the festive spirit.
Listeners can send festive greetings to family and friends on Christmas Day via Aled's programme.
Elin Fflur - 12-2pm
At 12 noon, Elin Fflur will get the party started with some non-stop tunes and plenty of laughter in the company of Mynediad am Ddim, Alys Williams and Candelas’ lead singer, Osian Huw.
Tudur Owen - 3-6pm
The party continues with Tudur Owen and the crew at 3pm on the big day; listeners will be treated to some cracking jokes and great music.
Eden a’r Gerddorfa - 6-7:30pm
A feast for the ears - listen back on Eden’s unforgettable concert with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, in Pontio, Bangor.

Ffion Dafis – Plygain - 2-4pm
On the first Sunday of the month, Ffion Dafis will take listeners on a journey through the history of the traditional Welsh Christmas service, Plygain. She'll be joined by Gwilym Bowen Rhys, Rhiannon Ifans, and Trefor Pugh, live from the Aberystwyth studio.
