“Cornucopia” is the title of this year’s Christmas bonanza at Narberth’s Oriel Q Gallery, which sparkles with ideas for presents this coming season.
In the main gallery paintings by Kate Kelly show sweeping beach-scapes with dramatic cloud formations, reminiscent of recent turbulent weather in Pembrokeshire. The other works on show include images in different media, from works on textiles by Pippa Sibert, to decorative collages by Alex Lewis.
Burst into the tiny Back Gallery and you find a mosaic of small pictures and tempting craft objects – all waiting to solve your gift problems!
The window has a collection of small paintings of candles by artist of the month, Peter Spriggs, reminding us of their symbolic use to create a festive atmosphere and to heighten the drama of the winter celebrations.
The exhibition lasts from November 17 to January 6 at Oriel Q Gallery, 11, Market Street, Narberth SA67 7AX. Open Wednesdays to Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Phone 01834 218894. Email: [email protected]
