Hundleton WI have enjoyed a summer outing to Lampeter and hosted the South Treasure Hunt at Monkton Swifts AFC.

On Tuesday, July 4, Hundleton WI members travelled to Lampeter for their Annual Summer Outing. The ladies enjoyed a Feast of ‘Summer Sunshine’ with Gareth Richards.

On Sunday July 9, Hundleton WI hosted the South Treasure Hunt. Starting at Monkton Swifts Car Park at 4pm. WI Advisor Frances Phillips, Kathryn Wilkins and Liz Tipping from the Membership Committee joined Hundleton for the afternoon. Sharon Court Manager of Monkton Swifts AFC served a delicious buffet to the ladies. Members thoroughly enjoyed cold meats, quiche, hot potatoes and salad followed by a selection of four different sweets with tea or coffee to finish.

Twelve WI teams entered and, following the raffle, the winners announced were:- 1st Pembroke Dock WI. ‘Sunderland Belles’; 2nd Ludchurch WI; 3rd Cosheston WI. ‘Cosh Remembered’.

The next Hundleton WI meeting will be held at Hundleton Church Hall on Tuesday, September 5. Guest speaker Debbie Coleman will be giving a craft demonstration.
