Dom Norcross and the Numbers Racket, featuring the sensational singer Elaina Hoss, delivered an unforgettable performance in Narberth that had everyone dancing, jumping, and jiving all night long.
Narberth Jazz were thrilled that the performance on the evening of January 16 was a resounding success.
The event, held at the Plas Hotel, Narberth, was a celebration of music and dance that brought together a lively crowd eager to experience the unique blend of jazz, swing, and soulful melodies.
Dom Norcross is renowned for his exceptional musical talent. He led the band through a series of energetic and captivating performances. These not only left the audience in awe, they left them wanting more.
Gordon Barry described how Elaina Hoss, with her powerful and soulful voice, added an extra layer of magic to the evening.
“Her rendition of classic hits and modern favourites alike showcased her incredible range and ability to connect with the audience. From the very first note, Elaina had everyone mesmerised, and her chemistry with the band was palpable, creating a dynamic and electrifying atmosphere.”
Highlights of the evening included many of American bandleader Louis Prima’s charts, which had the crowd on their feet and dancing.
“The combination of Dom Norcross's masterful saxophone playing and the Numbers Racket's tight, rhythmic grooves created a musical experience that was both timeless and contemporary,” added Barry.

This month’s Narberth Jazz at the Plas Hotel, on February 20, will seen a welcome return of Keith Little’s Swing Four featuring Gethin Liddington on trumpet.
