Manorbier Newton Fundraisers are back with a mouth-watering fundraiser, their Soup and Pudding lunch. It is being held on Saturday, February 18 in aid of three very worthy charities.
First up is Sandy Bear, a local children’s bereavement charity. The second charity chosen is Homeless Pembrokeshire, which provides emergency rough sleeper packs and food parcels and an outreach service for Pembrokeshire. The third charity is the Trussel Trust, a food bank provider, which has a base in Pembroke Dock.
The tasty lunch is being held in Lamphey Village Hall, 11.30am to 1.30pm, admission £7. There will be luscious soups served with bread and cheese and a stunning selection of desserts. Everything will be homemade, with cheesecake, roulade and bread and butter pudding… just a taster to tempt! It will be hard to make a choice but there will be takeaways available too. Tea and coffee and a super raffle.
Said Cheryl Hewitt, of Manorbier Newton Fundraisers: “It would be lovely to see our regular supporters as well as new guests. Have a catch up with friends ,treat the family or just spoil yourself, and all for three wonderful charities.”
