Narberth charity SPAN Arts is delighted to be returning to the Idyllic Lampeter House for a captivating performance by The Festival Players with their production of The Tempest.

This exciting story of magic and turmoil promises to deliver an engaging Shakespearean experience, courtesy of Festival Players International, the UK's premier all-male touring company. With their trademark energy, clarity, and professionalism, the Players will present a vibrant and costumed staging that guarantees an evening of laughter and entertainment. Magic abounds, plots are exposed, and a colourful array of characters gain their deserts in a tale of a shipwreck like no other. This rendition of The Tempest is sure to deliver a captivating performance for all ages.

The Festival Players have Dame Judi Dench as a patron; they have amassed an impressive 60 years’ combined experience in professional touring theatre.

The performance will take place on June 14, 7pm, outdoors in the picturesque grounds of Lampeter house, in the village of Lampeter Velfrey just outside Narberth. A small amphitheatre-style theatre provides the idyllic backdrop for this open-air Shakespearean spectacle.

Audience members are encouraged to come prepared for all weather conditions as the show will go on, come rain or shine. Attendees are welcome to bring their own seating for added comfort. A bar serving a wide selection of locally sourced delicacies will be providing refreshments throughout the evening.
