AUTISM has historically been under-diagnosed in girls and women, leaving many to grow up without the support, understanding, or resources they need.
For all the nerdy girls, the loud and funny girls, the quiet gamer girls, the “Manic Pixie Dream Girls”, and all those who feel they don’t quite fit any label, the Queens Hall Narberth presents Science of Autism and Women.
In this inclusive talk on Thursday, January 23, Dr Gemma Williams draws on the latest autism research and her own lived experience to shed light on what it means to be an autistic woman or girl, and why so many have flown under the radar.
Doors open at 7pm. Suitable for ages 16 and above.
On Friday, January 24 there are exciting Open Mic and Youth Open Mic events at the Queens Hall. We’ll bring you more details in next week’s issue.
Then on Saturday, January 25, the Aquarian Party is back for 2025!
