Wales street artist JenksArt has been in Whitland, transforming the side of the Station House pub, which is next to Whitland Railway Station, with a fantastic train-themed mural.

South West Wales Connected Community Rail Partnership is delighted.

“Imagine riding into Whitland railway station and seeing this incredible piece of art... well you don't need to imagine, go and take a look for yourself and admire the incredible creative talents of JenksArt.

“We are excited that we may be able to work with JenksArt in the future.”

“The pub is absolutely lush and food and drinks are stunning from Mike and family,” said the artist, adding, “I’m back in Whitland tomorrow [October 2] to add a final part to the mural.”

Station House commented: “Just to say a big thanks to Steve Jenkins of JenksArt for the hard work and stunning creations we witnessed during his time here producing a spectacular mural for every one to admire when they visit Whitland.

“We must also thank our customers who allow us to keep trading with their wonderful support and Carmarthenshire County Council for their support with the Ten Towns Programme.”
