Whitland councillors are tackling ongoing acts of vandalism to the public toilets in Cross Street, Whitland, which are under town council management.

Following the recent painting works it has been noted that vandalism to the inside of the public toilets has increased.

It was agreed that the toilets will remain open but monitored for further damage. Cllr Shipton advised that there was paint in the back storeroom and that he will arrange for the graffiti to be painted over.

The Clerk agreed to seek prices to have a motion light installed. When installing the CCTV to the Studio – opposite the public toilets – a CCTV camera covering the entrance will be considered. This would assist the police in identifying any vandals.
