Want to learn more about marine renewable energy? At Saundersfoot Harbour, Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum will be hosting a fun and informative workshop for all the family.

It is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the future of energy – you can even try your hand at building a wind turbine and discover what a floating wind farm really looks like with our virtual reality headset!

The fun challenges, prizes and discussion at Ocean Square, Saundersfoot, take place between 11am and 3pm on Monday, July 29. The event is free to attend.

For over 20 years, Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum (PCF) has been working to protect our coast and marine environments for current and future generations to enjoy. A community interest company, it works to bring people together – to start conversations and inspire change.

Earlier this year PCF launched its Marine Energy Engagement plan. It aims to bring together members of the local community, education providers, local authorities, conservation organisations, wildlife experts, the Crown Estate and organisations already working within the marine renewables industry to discuss how we as a county can stay informed and engaged and collectively understand and tackle future challenges.
