Tapping into the Enhancing Pembrokeshire grant funding scheme could be an opportunity to enhance play park equipment at New Hedges, a local county councillor has stated.

In a report from local county councillor Jon Preston to members of St. Mary Out Liberty Community Council, he said that he had recently met with the New Hedges Village hhll committee to provide a presentation regarding Enhancing Pembrokeshire grant funding.

Funded by the second home council tax premium, the scheme aims to help communities support their viability and well-being.

“There are only two more opportunities to make a formal application for funding before it is reviewed in the New Year, so this could be an opportunity to fund much-needed play equipment for the play park. I have shared all relevant information to interested parties,” stated Clr. Preston.
