Year 6 children from Pembroke Dock Community School recently took part in the 'Ecokids' project. They sent out letters asking parents and children to donate any old and unused textiles. These items were then collected by the 'Ecokids' and weighed, the school received 55p per kg. Pembroke Dock Community School would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated their unwanted textiles as we managed to collect 723kgs, which meant we raised £397.65 for the school. The 'Ecokids' project will now distribute the textiles to deprived families around the world.
