Ian at the Templebar Inn at Amroth has been praised by grateful fundraisers after hundreds of pounds were raised during Guide Dogs month.
Pembrokeshire Fundraising Group of Guide Dogs Cymru says a huge thank you to Ian from the Templebar Inn, Amroth, for a fantastic donation of £803 raised at events during the month of December, Guide Dogs month.
The funds were raised through the Tuesday bingo sessions and Wednesday quiz nights, plus a little extra over the New Year.
Ian presented the donation to Branch Organiser, Eva Rich with her guide dog, Nancy. Also present was John Woolsgrave and his guide dog, Eddie. John and Eddie qualified about a year ago and live in Tenby, and there is another new guide dog in Saundersfoot, Skip with Adge John.
Eva expressed the sincere thanks of the Pembrokeshire Branch, to Ian, the quiz masters and everyone who attended so regularly, trusting that Ian will remember Guide Dogs later in 2024.
“A huge thank you to Ian for arranging these evenings throughout the year for various charities, to the Quiz Masters who make the quiz nights so enjoyable, and to all the folk who support both the bingo and quiz nights.”
