The Pembrokeshire fundraising group of Guide Dogs Cymru had a meeting over coffee at the St Brides Hotel Saundersfoot, looking back on a successful year.
They were delighted to have four local guide dog owners and their dogs there. Pictured are Eva with Nancy, Sue and Henry, John and Eddie, Adge and Skip .
The group is pleased to report that they have had another very successful year, having raised over £15,000. This is a combination of merchandise sales , collection boxes, coffee morning and raffle, donated second hand book and jigsaw sales and talks .
Some members also took part in the New Year’s Day swim and raised well over £1,000 which will go into next year’s total.
The group would like to thank everyone for their support and donations in the last year, especially Saundersfoot Harbour and all the local businesses who have continued to offer their premises and raffle prizes.
As a group, they are very proud to have now funded eight working partnerships. They will be back on their stall starting at the end of May this year and look forward to seeing supporters there.
As ever, they would welcome more volunteers, if you have a few spare hours to help man their very friendly stall.
