Around 600 spectators lined the streets of Neyland to cheer on the entrants in the village carnival.

The spectacular, entertaining event was hailed by the organisers as the best ever carnival in Neyland:

“Thank you to everyone in the town that supported the procession in the streets, it really was one of the busiest we’ve seen, as was the field!

“Thank you to every entry into the parade, all your efforts are thanked for making it such a wonderful day. And thank you to all our sponsors, including our main ones (Ascona, Community Interest Care and Neyland Town Council), your kind donations are the reason we are able to put on this incredible event!

“Thank you to all stall holders, all volunteers that helped out and thank you to the fun fair for providing their services.”

Declaring it a “fantastic afternoon,” Mayor of Milford Haven Cllr William Elliott was invited by the Neyland Carnival Committee to judge alongside Neyland Deputy Mayor Cllr Ashleigh Phelan and Pembroke Dock Deputy Mayor Cllr Michelle Wiggins.
