A Taf Valley coach took members of Tenby Friendship Club on a mystery tour organised by Jan.
First stop on the tour, which took place last Wednesday, was Picton Castle where members had a tour around the castle, and then free time in the grounds.
At 1pm all were back on the coach, and the mischievous driver took them past a few places giving the impression they were going to stop… but no, on they went to Llys-y-Fran Lake.
Here in a private room beside the café Everyone shared a snack that some members had put together, sandwiches, sausage roll, cream cake and chocolate chip muffin - all homemade and eaten with the grand view of the lake outside!
Back in the coach, the raffle was drawn, and the friends set off home via a different route. It was a great day, enjoyed by all.
Today, July 12, members are being entertained in Augustus Place Hall by Phillip Okwedy, the storyteller.
Next Wednesday, July 19, the last meeting before the holidays, members are meeting at Augustus Place Hall 2pm for a Scavenger Hunt within the Hall.
