The following planning applications were considered by Penally Community Council:

24/0487/PA, Site opposite West Holloway House: New plans for construction of two dwellings. Cllr Richards proposed council object to the application. Previous objections remain in that there is no provision for pedestrians on the roadside which is an ongoing safety concern. The adjustment in height to the boundary wall will not mitigate the safety concerns expressed. The proposal for a corrugated iron roof covering would not be in keeping with the locality. All councillors agreed.

24/0954/PA Penally Newsagents and Village Stores: Change of use from A1 (shop) to residential (in retrospect). Cllr Mackie proposed council have no objection, Cllr Snow seconded, with a majority of Councillors in agreement.
