Breagh and Romi Davies from Stepaside have conquered their challenge to raise funds for the Pembrokeshire Hogspital - by walking more than 100 miles over 25 days.

Since beginning this challenge in mid-January, after online schooling ended each day, the sisters walked many routes from their home in all weathers, accompanied by their mum, Lucy, and raising over £700 through donations and sponsorship.

A big thank you from the girls goes to everyone who kindly donated and sponsored them.

Pembrokeshire Hogspital based in Haverfordwest is a non-profit charity taking in hedgehogs from the whole of the county - rescuing and rehabilitating sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs and after much needed specialist care before, in most cases, returning them to the wild.

Although many of the hedgehogs are in hibernation at the Hogspital until March/April (depending on outside temperature) they appear for food during milder times.

There are still the many underweight hoglets in the intensive care unit who need food with special and professional care from Ginny.

Food donations can be dropped off at several places in Pembrokeshire - with local drop off points at: Narberth (Burns Pet Shop); in Pentlepoir (Penny Brace, 1 Hawthorn Close, Pentlepoir SA69 9BZ - collection can be arranged locally 01834 811515); and Pembroke (Peter Fienhage, 106 Military Road, Pennar SA72 6SG).
