Taf Valley Coaches has expressed sorrow and disappointment that Saturday, March 30 will be the company’s last day operating local bus routes 322, X22, 381, X61.
Posting on Facebook, Taf Valley Coaches announced:
“We are very sorry and disappointed to say that we were unsuccessful in retaining these routes on the last round of tendering process with Pembrokeshire County Council.
“We have built up services 322 and 381 over the past seven or eight years and we are very proud to have provided a service achieving a 98 per cent punctuality rating. Please can we thank you all for your support and patronage over the years to our local family business and we are very grateful for your kind comments over the past few weeks after losing these contracts.
“We would also like to thank our staff for their hard work and dedication during this time, because without this, we would not have been able to provide the service that we had. We hope that our successor can maintain the high standards that we provided to the general public of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and the many tourists who visit the area.
“Diolch i chi gyd! - Thank you all!”
