Partners and friends were delighted to join Tenby Male Choir at the Giltar Hotel for their first annual lunch since 2020. The choir’s recently retired MD Ian ‘Wilbur’ Williams was able to join proceedings for drinks and the long service of several choristers was marked with award certificates.

Following a three course meal punctuated by a rolling raffle, a moving video helped everyone reflect on the last few years from TMC’s triumphant November 2019 performance at the Millennium Stadium, through lock down, restrictions and rebuilding to a remarkably successful 2022 season. Those lost over this period were remembered and the choir looked forward with comments from new musical director Paul Rapi.

The choir is currently planning and preparing its 2023 programme. This would be an ideal time to join, as members learn new pieces and arrangements.
