Major David and Captain Judith Morgans, representatives from Tenby Salvation Army based in Upper Park Road, were recently invited to St. Catherine’s Island to be presented with a donation towards the Tenby Salvation Army Community Fund; this fund aims to help and assist homeless people.
Tenby Salvation Army converts faith into action right at the heart of the community with vibrant church services, combating loneliness and offering support to people who feel marginalised - whatever the need, they are here for you.
Andi Jones (deputy caretaker/manager) and Tudor Thomas (historian), of St. Catherine’s Island, presented a cheque from the Fry Foundation Fund - St. Catherine’s Island Fort Project to them and afterwards stated: “It was a pleasure to meet Major David Morgans and Captain Judith Morgans. We hope that the contribution will go a little way to helping towards the aims and objectives of the Tenby Salvation Army Community Fund. We wish all of them every success for the future in all the work they do in and for the community. ”
