Last Monday at the Tenby Project, the members ran a successful coffee morning and had time to do some craft – Maggie painted a stencil on to a plant pot beautifully.
Everyone helped to make hot dogs, scrambled eggs and salad for lunch. In the afternoon, Jim Cornwell explained a bit about the history of music and the way an orchestra works. Everyone listened to some classical pieces and picked out which bit of the orchestra was playing when. Then everyone had great fun copying the last night at the Proms. An excellent afternoon – thanks Jim!
Everyone is welcome to come along to the coffee morning from 11 to 12 on a Monday morning in Augustus Place community hall, and also to come along to the afternoon activities, which are different every week.
On Tuesdays, the Tenby Project has started a new group especially to help with the gardening and painting of park benches around Tenby town. If anyone would like to volunteer to help with this, please come along to the Edible Garden in South Cliff / Sutton Street at 10.30am on a Tuesday or get in touch on 07811 3596896 or [email protected] .
