A service will be held at Milford Haven next Sunday to remember the men from The Australian and New Zealand Army Corps who lost their lives in the Wellington bomber that crashed into Milford Docks on July 18, 1942 .

One Englishman also died but it was never established why this accident happened.

The service will be held on Hamilton Terrace, Milford Haven on Sunday, April 23 at midday.

Also being remembered will be the origins of the Anzac name: the combined operation at the Gallipoli campaign of Australian and New Zealand forces which commenced on April 25, 1915 and resulted in over 8,700 Australian soldiers losing their lives and a further 2,721 from New Zealand. Anzac Day has been commemorated every year since 1916.

The various Welsh troops who served at Gallipoli with the Anzac troops who had emigrated will also be remembered.

You are invited to remember the lives lost in all military conflicts so that we can continue with our way of life today.

We will remember them.
