The warm coat rail is back at Tenby Library; if you need a coat, help yourself.
If you want to donate, please make sure the coat is clean, in good condition, and all buttons and zips are fully functional.
Adult Lego has started on Thursdays 3-4.30pm; this will run every week throughout the year. Junior Lego Club still runs every Friday afternoon, 3-4.30pm. There’s no need to book for these, just drop in and the sessions are free, but if you are coming by car, make sure you get a parking permit from library staff. There are also Junior Lego Clubs in Haverfordwest, Pembroke Dock and Milford libraries on other days.
The Alive and Kicking Library Ball Project is still running in library branches in Tenby, Milford Haven and Pembroke Dock, and at the Regency Hall in Saundersfoot. Balls of various sizes are available for borrowing for sport or fun, and it’s open to everyone. Just pop in or call and talk to staff.
Baby Rhyme Time is on Mondays 10:30-11am during term-time, with songs and stories for pre-schoolers and their adults. Starting from Friday, December 1 at 10:15am, Welsh Rhyme Time will be on regularly on the first Friday of the month in term-time.
There is a Digital Drop-In this month, all day on Thursday, November 23, open to anyone who want a bit of help with their devices. It is particularly aimed at supporting carers, so if you look after someone or regularly help someone out, feel free to come by.
New fiction in this month includes novels by Jeffrey Archer, Ken Follett, Jo Nesbo and Victoria Hislop. We have some new audiobooks this month, crime novels by Ruth Ware, Kate Ellis, CJ Tudor and Martin Edwards. New non-fiction includes two autobiographies by actors: ‘Behind the Shoulder Pads’ by Joan Collins, and ‘Pru & Me’ by Timothy West.
Narberth Library recently reopened back in its old home at St James Street after essential repairs were carried out on the building, and it is now fully functional again. It is open Tuesday 10am-12 and 2-5pm, Thursday 10-1pm and 2-5pm, and Saturday 10am-1pm. Call on 01437 775850 or email [email protected].
