With the Help to Buy Wales scheme extended to 2026, Lovell Homes invites buyers to discover new properties at Augustus Grange, Haverfordwest.
Augustus Grange, located off St David’s Road, is a mixed tenure development being delivered with Pobl Group and providing a total of 115 two and three-bedroom homes, just six miles from the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Haverfordwest is a historic county town in Pembrokeshire, close to the west coast of Wales. In the centre of the town is the castle, a landmark dating back to the 12th Century, and the Western Cleddau river. Future residents will be able to enjoy beautiful coastal landscapes and a variety of shops and restaurants.
The Welsh Government’s Help to Buy Wales* is designed to make the home buying process as easy as possible and is not restricted to first-time buyers, meaning all purchasers looking to move to a brand-new home are provided with support.
Available on properties up to £300,000, the scheme enables buyers to purchase a new build property with just a five per cent deposit. The remainder is made up from a 75 per cent mortgage and a 20 per cent equity loan, which is interest free for the first five years.
Under the scheme, a selection of three-bedroom homes are currently available at Augustus Grange, including the Lambourne and Lansdown style homes.
The scheme was due to end in March 2025 but has recently been extended to September 2026.
Suzie Hewitt, regional sales director at Lovell Homes, said: “Help to Buy Wales is an excellent scheme, so we were delighted by the news that it has been extended until 2026. For most people, buying a home is one of the biggest investments they will ever make, and this scheme has made the dream of homeownership possible for many buyers who would’ve thought it was out of reach.
“We have a fantastic selection of homes under £300,000 available at our Augustus Grange development, which have been designed for first-time buyers, growing families and those looking to rightsize to a more manageable property. We can’t wait to help more buyers make the move to a new Lovell home and would encourage anyone who is interested to get in touch with our sales team to find out more.”
