Five boats started the first race, won by Ben in a Laser. Lilly had a couple of capsizes and headed in, with Ben pulling out of the second race to help her, leaving the way open for Peter and Sharon in the Scorpion to win.

Clubhouse news: The first quiz of the winter season attracted nine eager teams. Team ‘Off Our Trolley’ emerged as worthy winners, closely followed by Team ‘Twp’ and Team ‘Tenby Crabs’. The next brainstorming event is earmarked for November 30.

The Annual Sailing Club Dinner Dance is on November 22 at the Giltar Hotel; annual meeting next day. Nominations for Officers and Committee should be made asap. More details available on www.tenbysailingclub.org.uk
