There were some positives to come out of the game, with Rupert James making his debut and some very good goals scored, along with great footballing skills and strong tackling shown throughout from everyone involved. Keep up the good work!

Under 12s
Sitting top of the league table, the undefeated U12s played host to Pennar Robins on Saturday. With seven wins from seven games, the boys knew that the Robins would give them a good game, and they weren’t wrong.
Straight from the kick-off, the defence from the Robins was admirable and they also made it clear that they were playing for the win too, with some excellent passing, keeping the Tenby defence of Jack and Leon on their toes.
Good ball from defence through Iori in midfield soon created a few chances, frm which Max was first to hit the back of the net.
The first half saw the ball in both halves, with chances for both teams. Tenby had the upper hand, though, and by spreading the ball wide down the sides to Morgan, Toby and Cas, they created a few more chances and it wasn’t long before Max was accurate again.
In fact, Max scored four, with one more from Iori, leaving the half-time score 5-0 to Tenby.
The second half was a lot closer and, despite some accurate passing between players, the Robins ’keeper made some excellent saves, keeping the scoreline fairly low.
The Tenby defence remained strong, with Iori R and George making some lovely tackles.
Two more goals came in second half from Dylan K and another from Max, while Kyle kept another clean sheet in the goal.Well done boys, another solid performance.
Team: Max (5), Iori (1), Dylan K (1), Jack, Morgan, Iorri R, Cas, Toby, George, Kyle and Leon.
Under 14s
Tenby Under 14s hosted Fishguard at the Clicketts last weekend. Early moments of the match saw Jack Jones and Teejay Gardner given chances, but it was the visitors who took a surprise lead.
Tenby continued to press, with some positive runs, and it wasn’t long before the impressive Jack Jones squared the ball for Iori Humpries to get the equaliser.
Teejay continued to cause the Fishguard ’keeper trouble, along with the pacy Dylan Morgan, while Iori continued to push forward and soon the Seasiders went ahead through Teejay Gardner (pictured).
The visitors then saw the game at two apiece through Ewan Howells with his second.
Iori still pushed on, but headed wide, but Tenby soon took the lead through an excellent run and finish by Dylan, while Archie Smith went on his way to provide a cross for Jack to head wide.
It was then Charlie Gregory’s turn to take a well-earned penalty, but unfortunately he narrowly missed the post.
To be fair, the defence also had a busy time, but they stood strong and Ned Davies and Callum Karaka along with Charlie G coped well.
The next goal came from the back, with Callum bringing the ball forward and moving it on to Jack, who squared it for Dylan to get his second of the game and make it 4-2 at the half-time whistle.
After the break, it was the visitors who scored early, despite the efforts of Rhys Mansell, who to be fair had a busy day between the sticks.
However, it wasn’t long before Archie got on to the sheet courtesy of a superb lay-off from Joe Evans.
Will Malone made the usual runs at the defence and Charlie Phillips pushed forward, while Iori witnessed another effort rise over the bar and Dylan hit the side netting - all this before the home team furthered the lead, this time courtesy of another great run from Dylan and finished by Jack.
Charlie Gregory then had his second penalty and he wasn’t to be outdone this time for goal number seven.
Archie came close, but after a great solo run, the ’keeper blocked his shot.
Archie was on hand this time with a great through ball for Kurt Sarronadia to finish his day with a goal and the eighth of the match.
The game finished 8-3. Altogether a decent performance, with goals coming from throughout the team. Next match will see Hakin visiting the Clicketts for what is likely to be an intense affair and could be the most important game of the Seasiders season.
Under 16s
United Aerospace and ProWaste sponsored Tenby Under 16s (pictured at the bottom of the page) resumed their League campaign recently with an away tie versus Kilgetty.
Soggy underfoot, the visitors were made to work hard for their victory.
They eventually showed their superiority, though, with Carl Thomas weighing in with four goals, Rhys Morgan two, and one apiece for Jamie Bartlett and Tate Lawrence as they ran out 7-0 winners.
Tenby’s man of the match was Dylan Evans.
Last Saturday, the Seasiders’ Under 16s welcomed fellow unbeaten side Clarbeston Road to The Clicketts.
With conditions perfect for football, Tenby played on the front foot for long periods, and it seemed only a matter of time before they would break the deadlock.
This soon happened, with Harri Phillips popping up in the box to make it 1-0.
The home side doubled their lead after half-time from a James Gardner free-kick, before Carl Thomas finished to put the Seasiders three clear.
A lapse in concentration gifted Clarby a goal, but there was only going to be one winner once Jamie Bartlett scored Tenby’s fourth of the day, to make the final result 4-1.
Tenby’s man-of-the-match was Kieran Allen.
With just three league games remaining, Tenby know that the title is within their grasp now, and will begin to look towards a decent cup run both in the West Wales and Pembrokeshire Cup.
