Angle All-Weather Lifeboat was requested to launch shortly after 5pm on Thursday, March 13 to assist with an ongoing police incident on the Cleddau Bridge, Pembroke Dock.
The bridge was closed to traffic for around 90 minutes.
The lifeboat launched and made best speed to the area where they then stood by for around an hour, ready to assist if required. Also on scene were Police Officers, the Fire Service, Paramedics, Coastguard Rescue Teams from Dale, St Govan’s and Tenby and Police Marine Unit vessel M66.
At 6.20pm, the incident was resolved safely and crew stood down. The lifeboat and her crew returned to station, where she was back alongside the jetty and readied for further service by 6.40pm.
